I can't believe this!!! Where did the time go??? Big Bird, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Ernie and Bert, and the rest of the gang are celebrating 40 years on the TV airwaves. I can't believe I'm this old. I'm glad that my kids have seen this show. Jim Henson, I wish you were alive to celebrate your baby's birthday.

I loved watching Sesame Street and still do.  Lizzy loves it as well, and I'm so happy that the show has lasted this long for her to enjoy it.

When I'm flipping channels and I see that it's on, I often stop and watch for a few minutes.  It hasn't lost its appeal over the years.  Bravo!  RIP Jim Henson.

I love Sesame Street!  I watched it as a kid, my older boys watched it and now my youngest does.  It gets better all the time.   I was just telling a coworker yesterday that I couldn't get the duet with Ernie and Aaron Neville out of my head, it's such a sweet song.

My kids don't believe me when I tell them it used to be that Snuffaluppakis used to be invisible to everybody but Big Bird.

Google has been celebrating by featuring characters on their homepage.  Yesterday it was cookie monster and today it's Bert & Ernie!
